Jill Peck, an Interior Design Society Associate based in Naples, FL, came to our office in July 2008 looking for professional help to make a web site for her decor business, Decor In A Day. We had quite a productive chat —Jill impressed me as a very organized person—, and she left the office with my promise of getting back to her as soon as possible.
Once we studied her target, local and Internet competition, along with her current business cards and brochure, we decided on our course of action. There was no mark, or logotype, on the former marketing material she left to us, so we decided to surprise her by creating a new logo and business cards, without increasing the budget already approved for the web site.
Jill loved the new logo idea! Once all initial design was approved, we then started with the design of the new web site, which consisted mainly in a great home page with links to colorful, simple and informative pages, including the copy Jill sent to us, some photographs of different decor projects done by her, and stock photography of our choice. We soon put everything together and the web site was up and running within the schedule.
With a very small budget, we were able to provide this local businesswoman her business mark, a great website and even her first batch of professional business cards. She was very satisfied with all our work, advice and commitment to her project, and let us know about it in several kind email messages.
What we did for Jill Peck —find her at www.decorinaday.net— and her startup business, as we have done for dozens other small businesses, we can do for you. We would love to.
